Hermosa Beach Auto Repair

I've been a customer of Beach Cities (used to be Chiefs) for nigh on 10 years and have never had a complaint. They are courteous, reliable, HONEST, and punctual. They will only do what is necessary and will not rip you off for extra services that are not needed. In this day and age, it is really something to have a company that believes in good old fashioned morality and a hand-shake kind of honesty.

I've been taking my car there since 2001. I've had nothing but superb service. Ken & Tyler and the family are a great bunch of people. They are quick to provide the best service possible always going the distance. I can not say enough good things about them! Even if I brought a new car I'd bring my car there that's how good they are.

This place has been around for a long time for a reason. They do great work, are honest, and family owned. I trust these guys. If you don't know just ask for Tyler.

By far the most honest auto repair shop I have ever dealt with. Ken & Tyler are top notch!! Went in for brakes and an oil change. Had to take the car back the next day due to oil leaking. Had to then take it back a day later with Check Engine light on. Yes it was a pain to take it back but they went above and beyond to make sure everything was fixed. I also brought in my other car for oil change/tire rotation days after and they comped it all!

This place is 5 stars for a reason. Ken runs a top notch family business on PCH in Hermosa Beach. I just wanted to share my experience: Beachside put new brakes on my car 6 months ago. After a few weeks I was hearing a rubbing noise so I brought it in and they fixed the problem by sanding the rotors at no cost. Then the noise returned recently. I had moved to Costa Mesa so I had Midas take a look and they said that i needed a $170 service on the 6 month old brakes. When I called Ken he asked me to bring it in again and he would send the brakes back to the manufacturer and did the whole service at no cost. The brake issue was a warped drum, out of Ken's control, but he stuck by me and made an unpleasant experience right! Thanks Ken and Congratulations Tyler!

This is a gem of a business. Family owned and operated, you can count on getting honest evaluations and GREAT service at a reasonable price. They do the job right the first time, every time. You really can't go wrong here!
