I really can't say enough good things about Beachside Auto. I'm so glad I picked this shop to start coming to when I moved to the area 3+ years ago. They help me out several times a year for thngs big and small, on 3 cars in our household, and I truly feel blessed to have an auto shop I am so confident in in my neighborhood. I think the most specific, stand-out thing, that would be useful to those reading reviews, is how easy they are to communicate with. Easy to get ahold of, and talk to. Whether you know nothing about cars and find car problems to be completely stressful and overwhelming, whether you know a bit about your own vehicles' history and problems, or your a mechanical person yourself, they can meet you at all levels and hold your hand if needed. Whenever I come in for oil and checkup, or a problem, they generally do a full inspection and then send a link to a website where you can see each item, status, any notes, and photos. This way you can go over it yourself and get on the same page a bit before making decisions or discussing further. This is so much better than a rushed and garbled verbal 'report' you can barely understand, like I have gotten with so many mechanics in the past. I know it's a third party software platform that enables this, but it's so useful and not all shops would integrate such a workflow. I appreciate that they're thorough and forward thinking in this way. Way beyond that though, they are happy to talk it through with you and explain anything *and everything* if you're the type of person who needs that, like me (or if you don't care for the website report). They can help you plan, and give advice on what can wait and what can't, if financials are tight. They can usually fit me in within a couple days. Everyne there is so lovely to interact with. Nice, patient, and flexible. I would say price is competitive but I haven't tried to look elsewhere. The relationship we've cultivated and the trust I have is *priceless*. Like I said, I work with them several times a year, and they've gone above and beyond for me on quite a few occasions, beyond just the transactional part of the business relationship. Over the last 6 months they were absolute angels when I went through a wreck that totaled my car, and the process of shopping for and buying a new used car. They gave invaluable practical support and lots of consultation and I was so happy I could lean on them. I am glad to be able to give them my business whenever I can and I only wish I had more friends in the area I could recommend them to. Guys, I'm sorry I hadn't written a review sooner! It's just not something I usually do, lol!
