When you give a rating of 5 STARS, Yelp writes "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" That's how it feels to find an auto repair place that is as sterling as Beachside Auto! I have been bringing my cars here for nearly 20 years so it's about time I write a review! I was impressed from the very first day I came in, when my used car was sounding like it was on its last breath. They test-drove it, then made a few adjustments and the car suddenly ran like new! I asked the cost and they said, "No charge. It was just a minor adjustment." Then they took the time to explain what was going on with my car (in easy-to-understand terms, yet without talking down to me) and let me know to keep an eye on a few things that might need some attention down the road. That was it! If I had been any place else they not only would have charge me for the fix, but probably also would have tried to up-sell me for more work. I had finally met an honest, articulate, good-natured mechanic and I never looked back! It is very difficult to earn someone's trust and loyalty these days, with all the shysters out there, but Beachside has never let me down, not once in all the years that I have been taking my cars to them. If there was an award for being the best full service auto repair place with the greatest customer service on the planet, I would nominate them in a heartbeat. PS: Don't believe the trumped-up reviews planted by competitors posing as disgruntled customers! This place is the best! But you don't have to take my word for it. Just read the HUNDREDS of GREAT REVIEWS they have from grateful, satisfied customers!

everybody @ Beachside is always willing to step up and help...great teamwork in servicing the customer - you never feel like you're inconveniencing them when you ask for help.

I originally found Beachside Auto on Yelp. It's close to my house and had good reviews so I went for it! Honestly, I find that getting and keeping a good mechanic is hard, and sometimes the issues with the car are hard to understand when explained. I've felt that they explain everything well, have fair pricing, will level with you (when asked what absolutely needs to be done, and what can wait) and I appreciate the card they send after your service. I think this is a great way to market and set themselves apart from other mechanics. My friend took his car here due to my recommendation. His car wasn't starting - he was able to get it into the shop and they fixed it in a timely matter. Two days later, the car wasn't starting again - seems like they missed something. They towed the car for free and were able to quickly diagnose the problem and get the car working again. Appreciated that they towed for free and made his car a priority.
